Steady Teddy

24-August-2018
Teddy Roosevelt National Park- South Unit
Medora, North Dakota

We’ve been dogging it to the Eastern for the last 2 days.
Had a nice hike on the Yellowstone River outside Livingston yesterday to break up the ride.
Heard the park was pretty smoky so we put the gunship on cruise control (80 mph out here) and rolled on
Made Myles City Montana last night and found some Mexican food and a place to park for the evening.
Cleaned off the windshield again (see previous post) then rolled on into North Dakota.

Found TR National Park out here in terrain very similar to the badlands further south.
They even call it badlands.
No rattlesnakes yet.
Seems a bit greener than Badlands National Park.
We did a few short hikes. Pretty hot in the middle of the day.
Checked into a hotel here in Medora. Just enjoying a shower.
Got tickets to the big Cowboy Musical here in town tonight.
Probably find some food.

Maybe tomorrow we’ll hit the hiking trail a little earlier.

Maybe not.
